We are here to support the artistic integrity of our community, to support the creatives who have joined our family, and to produce work that challenges and inspires us.
We believe storytelling is more than entertainment. It is truth-telling. It is a healing practice for the artist and the audience alike. Every production we create, no matter the stage or the screen, is rooted in that belief.
DEWAYNE O. GRIFFIN JR.
ARTS DEPARTMENT
DIRECTOR
DeWayne O. Griffin Jr. hails from Abington, Pennsylvania, and has been an active part of the Philadelphia arts community for years. Acting and production have always been at the heart of his dream, and he is passionate about bringing stories to life both on and off the screen.
DeWayne joins the Small House Productions team as Arts Program Director. In this role, he will help oversee the organization’s arts programming, ensuring productions run smoothly from planning through execution while staying rooted in the Small House mission. He works closely with the creative team to support scheduling, logistics, and program growth, so every project has the structure it needs to bring its story to life.
